Benefits of Theobromine

Theobromine is an alkaloid found in cocoa beans and other plants. Theobromine has various effects on the human body, including stimulating the central nervous system and dilating blood vessels. It has been used medicinally to treat heart and respiratory conditions.

Theobromine has many potential health benefits, including:

  1. Improved Heart Health: Theobromine has been found to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke. It can also reduce high blood pressure and improve blood vessel function.
  2. Reduced Stress Levels: Theobromine has been found to reduce stress and anxiety levels, making it a potential natural remedy for those with mental health issues.
  3. Improved Brain Function: Theobromine can help to improve cognitive performance, alertness, and focus. It is also believed to have neuroprotective effects and may even help to prevent dementia.
  4. Increased Energy Levels: Theobromine acts as a mild stimulant and can help to increase energy levels, making it a potential natural remedy for those suffering from fatigue.
  5. Improved Athletic Performance: Theobromine has been found to improve athletic performance, making it a potential supplement for professional/amateur athletes or your everyday gym goer.

Theobromine has been shown to have a mild vasodilatory effect. This effect causes the blood vessels to relax and widen, allowing for increased blood flow to the area. It can also be used to improve exercise performance and reduce fatigue. Theobromine is thought to work by activating the adenosine receptors in the body, which causes the blood vessels to relax.

Caffeine is known to cause the constriction of blood vessels and increasing blood pressure. This vasoconstriction can occur in both the arterial and venous systems and can last up to several hours after consuming caffeine.

VMI has you covered from all angles. High doses of caffeine can cause vasoconstriction, which is not something we want during training sessions. Theobromine has been shown to reduce the vasoconstrictive effects of caffeine, resulting in improved blood flow and oxygen delivery to the muscles. This can help improve overall performance and reduce fatigue during exercise. Theobromine also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties which can help reduce the risk of injury and speed up recovery. Additionally, theobromine can help reduce the jittery feeling often associated with high levels of caffeine intake. The recommended dose of theobromine is 200-400 mg per day, so we’ve made sure to put an efficacious dose of 300mg in each serving of KXR.

Wrapping it Up

Increased vasodilation can help increase performance during training sessions, but also help to improve overall cardiovascular health, reduce blood pressure, and improve nutrient and oxygen delivery to the muscles… MORE BLOOD FLOW MEANS BIGGER PUMPS!!
